DLR™

Rinkmaster™ Direct Liquid Refrigeration systems are custom manufactured by Rink Systems for proven energy efficiency and proven reliability. A number of DLR™ installations are in their third decade of operation.

The DLR™ system is fully automatic and can reduce energy needs from 40% to 60% below those of the typical indirect systems. Further, this is the only fully automatic system that makes possible the instantaneous control and adjustment of the ice temperature and ice hardness over the entire ice surface.

Indirect Brine Refrigeration Systems IBR™

Rinkmaster™ Indirect Brine Refrigeration systems are fabricated for your facility's specific requirements with industrial duty components. Available with either R-22 or R-717 (ammonia). Newer technology and computer controls for the chiller and brine pumps greatly enhance the IBR™ system's efficiency over typical indirect systems. Rink Systems utilizes only industrial-duty, open, fully serviceable compressors for long service life. These compressors, when properly maintained, will serve your arena for decades to come.

Pre-Packaged Systems

For arenas under a tight budget, Rink Systems offers a full line of pre-packaged refrigeration systems. These indirect systems are suited very well for studio and smaller recreational rinks. They are also designed for easy transportation when used for portable ice sheets. Standard units starting at 50 tons are available either with a self-contained air cooled condenser or for remote condenser operation.

Before sending your project out for bid, contact Rink Systems. We can provide complete engineering specifications and detailed drawings for your ice rink refrigeration and dasherboard system. This will assure you receive only the highest quality products at the best possible value. Information can be either in hard copy form or transferred to computer disc in nearly any software format.
Condensers

Rink Systems offers three types of condensers: air cooled, water cooled and evaporative. Contact us for assistance in determining which type is for you
Evaporative Condensers
Evaporative

Efficient in removing heat and in energy usage using a combination of water and air across coils. Low noise, galvanized steel construction. Available with many options.

Air Cooled

Low maintenance with quiet, corrosion-resistant fans mounted directly on the motors. Largest of the three types. Installed outside the building. Galvanized steel cabinets with aluminum transfer fins and seamless tubing. Direct or belt driven.

Water Cooled

Shell and tube condenser used inside the building in conjunction with an outside cooling tower. Heavy wall tubing. Designed for low water pressure drop and easy cleaning.
