Unlike other systems that use form bent sheet metal, the endplates on our dasherboards are fabricated with 3/16" thick structural steel angles. This creates superior strength and stiffness when standing up to any level of play.

Rink Systems only buys and installs the highest quality high-density polyethylene for our dasherboard facing, kickplate and caprail. This assures that your system will stand up to repeated impact by not chipping, cracking or fading.

After fabrication, all of our steel dasherboard frames are first cleaned in an acid bath then hot dip galvanized. This process actually bonds the galvanized material to the steel framework producing a multi-layer barrier against rust and corrosion.

All polyethylene facing, kickplate, and caprail are attached using screws with locking nuts through slotted framework holes. Slotted holes allow the facing materials to expand and contract naturally with the temperature changes to prevent stress and cracking. Locking nuts provide a secure and long lasting hold while preventing the screws from stripping out or breaking over time.

Our heavy-duty hinges with a ¾" stress proof pin can easily support even the heaviest of gates. They are CNC machined to exact tolerances and equipped with a stainless ball bearing for ease of movement. Fully serviceable and fully adjustable, both vertically and horizontally, these hinges will assure that your gates will always remain true and level.

Rink Systems uses only double bar gate latches creating two positive latching points for all players and access gates. With fewer parts, they are easy to maintain and will always assure your gates remain secure and plumb.

Rink Systems equipment gate casters are engineered with an enclosed spring design for personnel and hardware protection. Our exclusive constant force gas spring assures your gates are consistently and properly supported even on non-level floor surfaces.
